Lead Early Childhood Educator

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, ensuring that each child receives the necessary support to thrive academically and socially. The Lead Teacher will guide and mentor assistant teachers while collaborating with parents to enhance the educational experience.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Educate children in various subjects, including literacy, mathematics, and social skills.
• Provide individualized attention to students, catering to their unique learning needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive behavior management techniques.
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children, adhering to first aid protocols as needed.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Supervise assistant teachers and provide guidance in daily activities and lesson delivery.
• Organize and participate in daycare activities that promote social interaction and learning.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and maintain a clean classroom environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is essential.
• Strong background in caregiving, babysitting, or infant care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and experience working with children of various ages is required.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills, patience, and a passion for educating young minds are critical for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
