Administrative support for the various operations of a food-based business and a farmers market.
Description
Performs a variety of clerical, creative, and administrative functions, including: edit and maintain records, surveil compliance requirements, prepare payments and billing, scheduling, triage emails, process payments, assist with digital media, places orders, assist personnel and volunteers, communicate to clients, customers, team members, sales reps, event coordinators, vendors and participants, all around assistance to the team.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Primary job function is to assist management with administrative and clerical functions and coordination of on-site and off-site events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Associate's degree preferred in culinary, agriculture or business administration or any related fields and/or equivalent experience (at least two years related experience required).
- Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and background investigation.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
- Thorough understanding of standard office procedures and practices.
- Ability to use personal computers and office productivity software, especially Word and Excel.
- Understanding of video and photo editors like Canva and Adobe. Demonstrated knowledge of social media sites and web hosting.
- Ability to work independently and able to collaborate.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to write original correspondence.
