Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
- Execute custodial tasks including dusting, window washing, and restroom sanitation.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are well-kept.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide porter services by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning roles such as residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is an asset.
- Experience in custodial work or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
