We are seeking a Java Microservices Developer for an onsite role in Austin, TX, working with our end client, Apple. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with expertise in cloud platforms, API development, and scalable distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance microservices.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and third-party systems.
- Develop solutions using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
- Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
- Ensure security, authentication, and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and API Gateway.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and scaling.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of microservices applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, architects, and product teams.
- Utilize logging, monitoring, and debugging tools (Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus) for issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and best practice implementation.
- 8 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
- Experience in event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience in authentication and security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a highly scalable and distributed environment.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets.
- Familiarity with Apple s ecosystem and development best practices.
- Exposure to serverless architectures and API Gateways
