Assistant Banking Center Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Assistant Banking Center Manager in Ste Genevieve, MO! The position works onsite Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm and a Saturday rotation of 8am-noon.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Banking Center Manager in overseeing daily operations, including customer service, transactions, and branch activities.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Coach and mentor banking center staff to deliver high-quality service and achieve performance targets.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a professional manner.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and provide ongoing support to staff members.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.

Required Education and Experience:

• Two years minimum retail banking experience;
• Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations and compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Good interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to use effective communication skills, understand procedures, and speak clearly to customers, employees and supervisors; and,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software applications
• Must be able to travel to other branches occasionally and possibly frequently as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree
• Five or more years of deposit operations banking experience
• Prior supervisory skills
