AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Claims Subrogation Team for a 10-week internship. Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the Claims Subrogation Team.
About the Roadways College Internship Program:
Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:
Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives
Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image
Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change
Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust
What You’ll Do
Attend weekly operational and strategic insight sessions with senior leaders
Attend learning and development sessions to further enhance your leadership skills
Create and develop presentations using Microsoft Office Tools but not limited to PowerPoint
Network with executives and senior leaders across different business units
Support Subrogation team by assisting with claims research, data analysis, and process improvements.
Gain exposure to subrogation workflows, including identifying recovery opportunities, reviewing claims files, and supporting arbitration.
Track key performance metrics and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
What You’ll Need
Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in Business, Administration, Finance or similar
A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and Analytical and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail and ability to review large volumes of information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in insurance, legal research, or financial recovery processes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong proficiency with Excel and other MS Office products
Experience with Tableau or similar programs preferred
Internship Eligibility:
Must commit to the entirety of the program; June 2nd through August 8th
Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week
Must be willing to commute to the office daily
