M.S. Aerospace Inc. (MSA) is an aerospace manufacturer of high strength specialty fasteners, including bolts, screws, studs, and pins. Our products are of the highest quality and very close tolerances. Our products support the US Government, including the ISS, Space Shuttle, and the most demanding defense equipment. General Machinist / Tool maker
Department: Machine Shop
Department/ Area: Tool room
Position Summary:
Minimum 5 Years Experience.
Must be able to use all tool room machinery, Bridgport Mill, Hardinge Lathe, Manual Lathe, conventional mill, to produce precision components.
Machine tolerances of /- .0001
Be able to use all precision measuring instruments.
Collaborate with engineering on design for manufacturability.
Work independently and as a team.
Work with carbide is a plus.
Reporting Relationships:
Department supervisor
Working Conditions:
All day standing, repetitive manual motion, heavy physical work. Walking to monitor several machines.
Position type: Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift- Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function.

General Machinist / Tool maker

- Perform machine set ups.
- Interpret design schematics, cut and shape dies, and assemble the completed parts.
- Manufacture fixtures and tooling for production machining, assembly, and inspection needs.
- Must be able to work from engineering models using sketches.
- Read prints and sketches and understand verbal and written instruction
