We are MS Companies, a leading manufacturer in the industry. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Berea, KY. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring top-quality components by developing, editing, and executing Coordinate Measuring Machine programs using tools like PCDMIS or CMM Manager DCC.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in CMM programming and layout/inspection in a manufacturing setting. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering to enhance processes and validate new products/equipment.
Job Description:
- Develop, edit, and execute CMM programs using PCDMIS or CMM Manager DCC.
- Inspect and validate critical supplier components against drawing specifications using advanced inspection techniques.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering to enhance processes and validate new products/equipment.
- Train general inspectors on CMM and metrology best practices.
- Maintain lab equipment and manage layout schedules to keep production on track.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering (preferred) or 1-3 years of equivalent experience in CMM layout/inspection.
- 1-3 years of CMM programming and layout/inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
- 5 years of manufacturing and product knowledge.
- Expertise in CAD models, GD&T, and CMM software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and statistical software.
