We are a growing engineering, architecture, planning firm seeking a Business Development Representative to foster existing client relationships and establish new business opportunities by contacting key, targeted clients and provide ongoing communication. The ideal candidate will work directly with senior engineers, architects, technicians, and administrative staff to foster relationships with potential clients and set strategic goals in the pursuit of new clients. Located in our office in Indianapolis, IN, you will work with many different ms team members within all our business units. ms focuses on client satisfaction by offering in-house multidisciplinary services, value-driven partnerships, total quality management, and flexible project delivery.

What You'll Do
You will be part of the ms team and will work directly with all leadership positions within the company. The business pursuits would include projects in the areas of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, water and wastewater pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and water resources. In addition, this role will also include business pursuits for transportation services including roadway, bridge, traffic, environmental, survey, right-of-way services, and construction inspection.

- Develop technical proposals, presentations, and budgets and strategic pursuits
We are looking for an organized, creative individual who can communicate well and is accountable in a collaborative team environment.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering/Architecture or related field preferred
- Proven Business Development experience
- Strong communication skills, good collaborator, creative thinker
- Technical computer skills –Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel
- Experience working in technical project teams and with other service groups
