What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at MS-IL Staffing & Packaging?
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in QA / QC and a commitment to food safety.
Pay : $22.50 - $23.50 per hour
Shifts Available :
- 1st Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM, Monday – Friday
- 2nd Shift : 2 : 00 PM – 12 : 30 AM, Monday – Thursday
- Some overtime may be required
- Perform quality assurance checks on production lines
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety regulations
- Conduct sanitation checks, including ATP and allergen swabbing
- Verify receiving procedures and documentation
- Maintain SQF quality standards and support production teams
- 1 year of experience in a QA / QC role
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret QA documents
- Experience with SQF or food safety codes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus but not required
