Position : Receiving Clerk
Shift : 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6AM-2 : 30PM
Pay : $17.72
Location : Plainfield
JOB SUMMARY :
The receiving clerk is responsible for a ccurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity and data entry for warehouse management system. We also expect you to be “picky” when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders. The job will require an individual who is energetic, detail oriented and safety minded who can function in a fast-paced environment. Product, size, and weight of boxes will vary throughout the day. Could be standing and / or walking for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and consistently lifting up to 50 lbs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift / stand up, propane and battery
Reach truck experience is a plus but not necessary
Responsible to complete safety checks and enter information into daily logs
Pull customer product from inventory locations according to lot, location and quantity
Complete appropriate paperwork Stage product in correct locations
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
Qualifications Required :
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of forklift experience preferably loading and unloading trucks
Organization and communication skills are important
Able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks at one time.
Experience picking orders
Ability to work without supervision
Preferred :
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous warehouse experience is a plus
