Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Studio Night Manager to oversee evening operations at our dance studio. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. They will be responsible for ensuring smooth studio operations during evening hours, managing staff and teams, handling customer accounts, and facilitating sales and enrollment processes.
Studio Operations & Leadership
- Oversee all studio operations during evening hours, ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment for students, parents, and staff.
- Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and meets safety standards.
- Enforce studio policies and procedures while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
Customer Service & Client Relations
- Manage customer accounts, including payments, enrollments, and account inquiries.
- Handle client communications in person, over the phone, and via email in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with sales and enrollment processes, including answering questions about classes, pricing, and promotions.
Staff & Team Management
- Supervise evening staff, ensuring they are fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
- Provide leadership and support to instructors and team members as needed.
- Address any minor staff concerns before they escalate and communicate larger issues to upper management.
Scheduling & Event Coordination
- Assist in scheduling classes, staff shifts, and special events.
- Support event planning and execution, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.
- Coordinate with instructors and team leaders to manage rehearsal and performance schedules.
Administrative & Financial Duties
- Track attendance and maintain studio records.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with reporting and basic financial tracking as needed.
- Oversee daily operations of the dance studio, ensuring smooth functioning of classes and activities.
- Coordinate class schedules, ensuring optimal use of studio space and resources.
- Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff, providing ongoing support and professional development.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for students and parents, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Organize special events, performances, and competitions to showcase student talent.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and feedback.
- Collaborate with parents to support students' growth in dance and related skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the studio environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, management, or HR required.
- Background in business operations, sports management, youth activities, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to create and follow systems and processes to maintain smooth operations.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions that benefit both the business and the client experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in high-stress situations.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and an optimistic approach to challenges.
- Comfortable with basic financial tasks such as handling payments and understanding numbers.
