Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment including the building and property according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

M-Th 5am-3p
Primary Duties:
1. Inspect, repair, and maintain building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical.
2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the building meets safety and operational standards.
3. Repair and refurbish structural components such as doors, windows, and walls.
4. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
5. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
6. Diagnose machine malfunctions and identify corrective actions to minimize downtime.
7. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, calibration, and part replacement, according to schedules.
8. Maintain the exterior property, including landscaping, parking lots, walkways, and drainage systems.
9. Perform seasonal tasks, such as snow removal, salting walkways, and lawn care.
10. Monitor and address any environmental or safety hazards on the property.
11. Conduct routine inspections of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency exits.
12. Respond to facility and equipment emergencies promptly to mitigate risks.
13. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
14. Communicate effectively with management and team members to report issues, updates, and progress.
15. Assist in developing and updating maintenance procedures and schedules.
16. Identify opportunities for improvements in equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance workflows.
17. Participate in cross-departmental projects to enhance overall facility performance.
18. Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades.
19. Provide on-the-job training to new team members or operators as needed.
20. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the company.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school or equivalent.
2. Some electrical PLC & HVAC experience required
3. 4 years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
4. Mechanical and fabrication abilities.
5. Technically sound and hands-on in troubleshooting: paint line, robotic welders, spot welders, flat lasers, brake presses, tube lasers, auto presses, band saws, aluminum saws
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Extensive standing, recurring bending, reaching as well as moderate to heavy lifting.
2. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
3. Continuous mental and/or visual attention to operate machine(s).
4. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1. Considerable and continuous noises.
2. Working in a safe manufacturing environment
3. Must wear appropriate safety equipment when deemed necessary
4. May be working in noisy, dusty, greasy, or wet environments.
5. Some disagreeable elements present, such as hot and humid, fumes, etc.
6. Exposure to various odors, dust, cuts, or burns due to corrosive and/or heated tanks of chemicals, noise, etc.
7. Exposure to hazards where failure to exercise extreme care could result in severe injury.
8. Exposure to various weather elements.
