What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Mixer Truck Driver/Concrete Labor position at MS Park Construction LLC?
Precast Concrete Plant of PNK Group is looking for a Concrete Mixer Truck Driver/ Concrete Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a specialized truck to the concrete mixing unit and pours concrete from the mixer. On times when there is a lack of work for driving the Mixer truck, the candidate will work at the production as concrete labor to get sufficient amount of working hours for Full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
Mixer Truck Driver
- Load your truck with ready mix concrete
- Drive the concrete to the Plant
- Help unload the mixed concrete
- Inspect your truck for mechanical issues
- Perform or outsource maintenance
Concrete Labor
- Follows Safety and Quality Rules to ensure safe working environment and production of quality products
- Formwork preparation for the manufacture of reinforced concrete products
- Cleaning, lubrication of forms
- Filling the mold with concrete mix and compacting it.
- Receives concrete, spreads and vibrates concrete with spud vibrator, vibra trak, or vibrating screed
- Compliance with accepted technologies, quality standards, safety regulations
- Clean and prepare molds for the next production cycle.
- Work collaboratively with other production team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintaining the safety of property and tools of the production site
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- CDL A or B license
- Trucking experience on Concrete Mixer trucks or Similar
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing/production environment or construction field
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of reading blueprints or willingness to learn.
- Strong hauling skills
Working Conditions
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors and indoors
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
Physical Requirements
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
- Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
