Company Overview:
MSA, LLC is a growing PE-backed company seeking an experienced CFO to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have 7 years of progressively responsible experience in business finance and accounting, with exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles and GAAP.
The successful candidate will be proficient in accounting software, have experience with software system implementation, and possess strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management: Oversees all aspects of accounting, including billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Reporting: Issues timely and complete financial statements, coordinates the preparation of the corporate annual report, and recommends benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
- Compliance: Coordinates the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit, monitors debt levels and compliance with debt covenants, and complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in business finance and accounting.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles and GAAP.
- Proficient in accounting software and experience with software system implementation.
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
- BA or BS degree required (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance).
