Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controller and Financial Analyst to join our team at MSA, LLC.
The successful candidate will have 7 years of progressively responsible experience in business finance and accounting, with exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles and GAAP.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software, have experience with software system implementation, and possess strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management: Manages all aspects of accounting, including billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Reporting: Issues timely and complete financial statements, coordinates the preparation of the corporate annual report, and recommends benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
- Compliance: Coordinates the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit, monitors debt levels and compliance with debt covenants, and complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filing.
Requirements:
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in business finance and accounting.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles and GAAP.
- Proficient in accounting software and experience with software system implementation.
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
- BA or BS degree required (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance).
