Read on for more details about this particular role.ResponsibilitiesSummary of position : Special Materials (SMs) are requested variations of MSA's standard product offerings, and the "Special Materials Analyst" position provides the technical assessment and documentation creation needs for SMs for our protection product portfolio. The person in this position will review SM order requests from customer service, marketing, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure that the requested product can be created from a technical perspective. A strong understanding of product structure and its implications on the manufacturing processes for the protection product portfolio is needed. Possessing or gaining knowledge in the application SAP and CRM functions affecting order review and product structure, along with knowledge of the processes followed by customer service and operations is needed.
