Responsibilities:
2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm Monday through Friday
Pay Rate $23.95/hr, plus $1.00/hr shift differential

Now Hiring at our Cranberry Township manufacturing plant for a Production Technician Gas Mixing. The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:
- The primary role for this position is to blend refrigerant gasses into cylinders, using gravitational scales, and corresponding predefined Excel spreadsheet calculations.
- Handle gas cylinders and verify gas mix accuracies using a gas sensing device.
- Assemble and test (including set-up), moderately complex instruments and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering.
- May be required to pick parts from the warehouse.
- Produce customized instruments to customer specifications (assemble to order).
- Package and ship instruments according to customer specifications.
- Generate delivery notes and determine method of shipping.
- Transfer material to shipping dock.
- Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
- Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
Requirements:

Ability to:
- read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
- understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
- perform standard software operations including UPS.
- infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- regularly perform work that requires magnification.
- use power and hand tools, custom tooling and to operate a pallet jack.
- effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.
- work independently with minimal supervision, and prioritize and organize work.
- work in a team environment.
- wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
- Must attain ability to perform complex SAP transactions.
- Must attain Hazardous Material certification.
- Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
- Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
- Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 months electronics manufacturing or other related experience.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Past soldering experience.
- Able to use excel and understand how to interpret numbers / decimals.
