Responsibilities

• Engineer / design Fire and Gas Detection Systems solutions for General Monitors and MSA fixed instrument customers. Involves creating engineering work product including mechanical, electrical and terminal diagrams, PLC software and HMI software for F&G Systems projects
• Manage project execution including communicating project expectations; interfacing with clients, planning, and meeting project timelines.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders on project status
• Assist with commercial and technical proposals to client base, involving system conceptualization, and offering comprehensive solutions
• Conduct factory troubleshooting and startup of new systems prior to customer witnessed factory acceptance testing
• Conduct field startup and commissioning of systems delivered to customer's facilities
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally for F&G System Start-up, commissioning and maintenance.
