OHCHS is seeking a secretary for the building Principal. This person will be able to work collaboratively in a
team environment, have effective communication skills, be well organized, and possess technology skills such
as use of spreadsheets.


JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidates must have experience in the secretarial field, preferably with experience working with adults and
teens. Duties include: supporting the budget process; ordering supplies; maintaining appointments for the
principal; taking phone calls; minute taking at meetings; organizing graduation and end of year activities and
events; communicating with staff and helping with classroom coverage; sending school communication to
staff, students, families and the public; operating and supporting the school web page and social media
accounts; supporting the use of TimeClock Plus (employee hours and attendance); maintaining and updating
forms; recording sick days, professional days, and personal days of staff; monthly reports and other duties as
needed.


Reports to: Building Principal
Work Schedule: 52 week employee

OVERVIEW
Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School serves 1100 students in grade 9-12. We are dedicated to the team
approach in grades 9-10 and provide opportunities for students to explore their interests with twelve Advanced
Placement courses, dual enrollment college courses, and access to twenty-two career and technical education
programs. We want our students prepared for any path they choose beyond high school.

OXFORD HILLS REGION

The Oxford Hills School District (MSAD 17) comprises the towns of Norway, South Paris, West Paris, Oxford, Waterford, Harrison, Hebron and Otisfield. MSAD 17 shares vocational resources and accepts students in its Oxford Hills Technical School programs from the RSU10 School District towns of Buckfield, Hartford and Sumner. Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education is located within the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.


The Oxford Hills offer a variety of outdoor resources for anyone wishing to enjoy the region, whatever the season. The area boasts more than ten lakes and ponds for outdoor recreation, a land trust with hundreds of acres for skiing, snowshoeing, and is in close proximity to several downhill skiing areas! Community support for Oxford Hills athletics and extracurricular activities is very strong and represents the robust regional commitment to the students and schools within the district.
