Responsibilities
- Implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for students with developmental disabilities.
- Engage students with curriculum materials that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student progress and address any concerns
- Support educators in best practices for teaching children with special needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and social interaction.
Requirements
- Educational Technician Certification from Maine DOE
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.02 - $26.59 per hour
