What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Technician position at MSAD #60 (North Berwick)?
MSAD 60 is looking for Educational Technicians to work with our students throughout the district in life skills, resource room and inclusion classroom models per Individualized Education Plans. The supervising teacher will create academic, behavioral, and social emotional plans for the Educational Technician to carry out throughout the day. Educational Technicians are expected to follow the designed plans as prescribed by the teacher. Academic, behavioral, and social emotional skills that will be supported include, but are not limited to, supporting students in: Basic Reading, Writing and Math Skills Functional communication; Collaborating with peers and staff;Skills to support emotional regulation;Strategies that allow students to access and participate in grade level content academics.
Expected Classroom Behaviors; Expected Socially Acceptable Behavior Candidates should be comfortable collecting data about student performance throughout the day. They will be supporting students individually, in small groups, and in the special education and regular education setting.
