What are the responsibilities and job description for the JV Girls Soccer Head Coach position at MSAD 75 / RSU 75?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement a comprehensive girls soccer program
- Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations
- Provide leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship
- Provide appropriate supervision and management of team during practices and games
- Use current best practices to teach and develop soccer skills, maintaining athlete safety
- Consistently report game results to the Athletic Director and appropriate media outlets
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior high school coaching experience preferred
- Current CPR/AED certification or able to obtain
- Current Sports First Aid certification or able to obtain
- Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Authorization, or ability to obtain
