Maine School Administrative District 75 (MSAD 75) is seeking a Long Term Grade 3 Substitute Teacher at Williams-Cone School to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
Approximate dates are August 25 to October 31, 2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Showing passion and a commitment to helping all students learn at a high level.
- Contributing to a school culture of appreciation, collegiality, and innovation.
- Utilizing skills to be successful with intensive collaboration in a team-based, multi-grade approach to teaching and learning.
- Creating an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel they belong, and are excited to learn.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of research-based Literacy and Mathematics instruction and assessment at the intermediate-elementary level, and the commitment to continue professional learning.
- Experience with Teachers College workshop model &/or Fishtank curriculum highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
- All other duties per teacher contract.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Elementary Education.
- State of Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification (020) in General Elementary.
- State of Maine background check (CHRC) authorization.
- Elementary level teaching experience preferred.
