What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Football Assistant Coach (9-12) position at MSAD 75 / RSU 75?
GRADES: 9-12
LOCATION: Mt. Ararat High School
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with Head Football Coach to develop and implement an organized and comprehensive football program.
- Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
- Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
- Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
- Use current best practices to teach and develop football skills while maintaining student-athlete safety.
- Report game results to Athletic Director and local media outlets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Prior high school coaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
- Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
- Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Authorization, or ability to obtain
