- Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and equipment based on project requirements.
- Create electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Apply electrical principles to solve complex engineering problems and improve system performance.
- Conduct system and component testing to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and modifications made.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical engineers, software engineers, etc.) to integrate electrical systems into larger products.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand their needs and specifications.
- Assist in managing projects, including preparing technical reports, budgets, and timelines.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior engineers and project managers.
- Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and time constraints.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, codes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Promote safety within the workplace and ensure that electrical systems and equipment meet safety requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, helping them develop their technical skills.
- Review their designs and offer constructive feedback.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year College or University.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, circuit analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, PSpice, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
