General Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Training and Team Development to join their team! This vital role is responsible for enhancing employee productivity and aligning training initiatives with the strategic goals of their organization. You will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, Regional Managers, On-Site Teams, Leasing Team, and other key stakeholders to design, deliver, and assess comprehensive training programs for both new and existing team members.
You’ll play a critical role in fostering an engaging learning culture that supports individual growth and overall organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute internal and external training programs, including in-person sessions, webinars, training materials, and videos.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess training needs via surveys, interviews, and performance data.
- Create and maintain detailed training schedules for onboarding and continued education.
- Modify and maintain course materials using platforms such as Grace Hill and Edge2Learn.
- Facilitate in-person and online training sessions, and record sessions as needed for ongoing learning.
- Support Property Managers with addressing learning and development issues.
- Track and report on training effectiveness and industry trends.
- Administer the Mystery Shop Program and maintain a library of training resources.
- Develop engaging training content that reflects company culture and values.
- Assist the Senior Director of Marketing with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience OR 2 years in a corporate environment within multifamily, hospitality, or a related service industry.
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programs.
- Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Ellis or Grace Hill Training Programs.
- Understanding of Fair Housing Laws preferred.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of training best practices, adult learning principles, and skills assessments.
- Comfortable using multimedia training platforms and learning management systems.
- Self-starter with a passion for employee development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Travel Requirements:
This role requires travel to various community locations, both in-state and out-of-state, as needed to support training initiatives.
