Brief Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for supporting and providing guidance to the sales field, specifically related to individual customer and market basket level needs. The Pricing Analyst I also ensures compliance to ISO documented procedures and company guidelines.

Compensation starting at $55000 - $65000 depending on experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Brief Position Summary

DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with sales field to ensure price changes are loaded promptly, accurately, and in compliance with corporate guidelines
- Apply standard methodology to RFQ, RFP, and formal bid opportunities, and customize as necessary based on competitive intel
- Provide standard sales and pricing reporting to frontline sales managers
- Manage invoice exception hold report and other daily error reports to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Provide pricing expertise to sales field and other duties on an ad hoc basis
- Support department initiatives regarding pricing data maintenance and other ad hoc projects
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
- Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- One to two years job experience in quantitative analysis or related positions preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills coupled with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus approach
- Strong working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access); AS400 experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and to handle simultaneous work assignments and projects

- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.
- This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).
