DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
Gains industry knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.
Actively participate in activities supporting digital operations, including process optimization, system enhancements, and data analysis.
Learn MSC's products, services, processes, and culture.
Engage in project management processes and support the implementation of digital initiatives.
Monitor customer feedback listening posts and analyze data to provide product teams with suggestions for improvements and identified pain points.
Proactively address issues identified through feedback to minimize the negative impact of any issues.
Develop knowledge and understanding of how the Digital Operations team utilizes technology to monitor and report on customer experience metrics.
Meet with customers to discuss their experiences and gather valuable insights into customer preferences, pain points, and emerging trends.
Contribute to creating a customer-centric culture by aligning stakeholders with our customers' needs.
Develop skills needed for a career in industrial distribution.
Supports assigned business manager with project work.
Presents intern project results to business leaders.
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.
Participation in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :
High School diploma required.
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university or technical trade school.
SKILLS :
Proficient use of Microsoft Office software required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
Positive, high-energy approach to assignments and a willingness to learn quickly required.
