Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:

The Developer produces clean, efficient code based on specifications, tests and deploys programs and systems, fixes and improves existing software, assists with requirement gathering.

Essential Functions

• Assists the Senior Developers with the design and building of production-grade solutions that are resilient, efficient, and easily maintained.
• Assists in all aspects of the development life cycle, including architecture, requirement gathering, development, testing, training, implementation, and support for applications as well as reporting.
• Participates to the translation of business requirements into specifications that will be used to guide development of solutions and supplemental tools including required databases, user interfaces, reports, and dashboards.
• Improves the data flow and data quality to increase accuracy, viability, and value.
• Creates and maintains training material and trains business functional, power, and end-users as necessary.
• Unit test code for usability, reliability, and overall performance
• Assists in quality control, validation processes and testing efforts, providing guidance and supervision to end users to ensure adequate and thorough testing.
• Provides day to day support to the division as required to ensure the availability and performance of systems, users interface, software tools, and dashboards.

• API driven development with REST Services

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a math, science or technology related field of study
• 1 year of experience in programming (VB, Python, R, Java, C )

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
