Service Contracts Specialist
MSC USA - Charleston
Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
Checks the accuracy of the work performed by the Shared Service Center team which handles the data entry for the processing of the service contracts. Identifies, records, and corrects any errors found.
Reviews and uploads the service contract documents in the electronic platform and follows up with the signing parties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Audits the amendments and the service contract processing performed by the Shared Service Center team which handles the TMS data entry for contracts & rate appendix formatting.
- Ensures that all entries in TMS are accurate and up to date.
- Corrects the errors identified at various stages of checking and approval (e.g. mandatory charge omissions).
- Records and properly categorizes all errors corrected and identified.
- Requests the necessary signatures from Geneva HQ.
- Uploads the signature pages of the service contracts in the electronic signature platform.
- Follows up with customers to obtain the signatures. Responds to customers’ questions about using the electronic signature platform.
- Seeks input from internal departments (e.g. Trades) for specific customer complaints.
- Escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.
- Performs other duties, as necessary.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.)
