Key Responsibilities & Duties
Under the supervision & guidance of the Chief Controlling Officer, provides analytical support, recurrent & ad-hoc reporting in various areas, such as:
Analysis of costs to identify potential sources of cost reductions (terminals, port costs, depot costs, intermodal costs etc.)
Analysis and follow-up of demurrage and storage dwell time by port/terminal and identification of potential improvements of revenue matrix
Analysis of commercial performance versus generated volumes and applied tariffs (margin per container and per service, activity margin etc.)
Monitoring and analysis of main financial and operational KPIs
Analysis of any potential cost savings and new sources of income
Creates and maintains dashboards, tools, and reports to support the Chief Controlling Officer:
Develops and maintains deep knowledge of operations & business processes; data available in the organization and knows where to find data to answer business questions.
Data and database operational support including administration, data management/configuration, and internal and external data-set integration.
Improves data flow and data quality to increase data accuracy, viability, and value.
Creates Ad Hoc reports, queries and/or analyses upon request.
Provides support to end users to increase the effective usage of business intelligence tools.
Performs other duties as assigned.
