Job Summary / Key Responsibilities :
Job Summary
Provides intermodal pricing support for spot quotations. Serves as an escalation point for more complex issues and assists with the development of Clerks.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provides internal departments in MSC US and Overseas Offices with intermodal rates on a needed basis, for spot quotations.
- Supplies the pricing information and clarifies the questions respecting the deadlines agreed internally.
- Responds to issues which are escalated by the Clerks and escalates unique or complex issues to the Manager for resolution when necessary.
- Proposes improvements to the pricing tools and procedures.
- Observes corporate guidelines and procedures when addressing inquiries.
- Generates potential solutions to issues.
- Provides feedback regarding current practices to support process efficiencies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
