Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting customers with their documentation inquiries or concerns related to their export cargo shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates clearly with team members regarding workload, customer particulars, and problems.
- Liaises between data entry teams and customers to ensure missing information is received and customer’s requirements are understood via Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provides shipment details and bills of lading to customers when requested.
- Communicates with overseas agencies to ensure corrections can be applied and cargo is available for release.
- Updates bills of lading according to customer’s requests with little to no errors generated.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in similar role
- Prior experience in in supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.
- English: advanced
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
- Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Great team player
- Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software
