Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities: Tracks every import vessel calling the US ports and the containers on the respective vessel, using MSC proprietary tools, to identify the storage agreements per the service contracts and confirm the free time. Collects the free time information, summarizes it, and calculates the dates for the terminals. Organizes the files based on terminal format requirements. Sends summarized data and guarantees of payment to terminals. Responds to inquiries coming from the customers and internal departments, regarding free time, to solve contract disputes. Creates and updates the free time records in the MSC systems, for accurate billing. Escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary. Performs other duties as required.
