As an Advanced Supply Chain Process Architect, you will be the catalyst for innovative supply chain solutions. Your focus will be on refining operations, elevating customer interactions, and fortifying team spirit throughout our Customer Fulfillment Centers. This pivotal role entails leading strategic endeavors to align with MSC's ambitions for excellence.
Based in: Preferably Atlanta, GA or Harrisburg, PA. You should be open to considerable travel, with a 50% requirement across our U.S. centers. Expertise in AutoCAD, MS Project, conveyor systems, lean manufacturing, and automation is vital.
Main Duties:
- Orchestrate major projects by overseeing implementation phases from ideation to completion.
- Provide insightful guidance on logistics strategies, enhancing our entire CFC network.
- Work collaboratively to identify, analyze, and enhance logistics processes across sites.
- Utilize logistics innovations to optimize order fulfillment, receipting, and shipping functions.
- Leverage cross-functional teamwork to implement risk-conscious logistics improvements.
- Articulate project goals to secure necessary approvals from senior leadership.
- Exhibit comprehensive proficiency in material handling equipment management.
- Energize MSC’s culture across departments, ensuring a shared vision and purpose.
- Commit to special projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Educational Background:
- Necessary: A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: At least five years in an engineering capacity within the distribution sector.
- Demonstrable success in executing large capital projects with a full-cycle approach.
- Experienced in preventative maintenance for handling equipment and systems.
- Proficiency with conveyor control systems is imperative.

- Computer literacy including advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AutoCAD, and more.
