What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety and Crane Industry Consultant/Professional position at MSC Safety Solutions?
The Safety and Crane Trainer/Inspector will be responsible for providing excellent training for each of the offered courses at both on and off-site locations. The Safety Trainer/Inspector will report to the Director of Operations & Business Development and is expected to administer courses at the highest quality and professionalism possible.
· Communicate and report to the Director of Operations and Business Development
· Maintain commitments and calendars to ensure fluid scheduling process
· Prepare and collect materials for client training (all deliverables: sign in sheets, candidate photos, evaluations, applications if applicable etc.)
· Administer training at the highest level of quality and professionalism possible
· Professional communications, interactions and trainings for clients
· Ensure timely execution of work
· Meet with current and potential clients
· Perform Inspections primarily in Colorado but some travel required
· Develop and update clients documents and policy
· Develop or assist in the development of training materials
· Form relationships to assist in bringing in new clientele
· Available to work full time on site for clients
· Respond to emails and phone calls
Any individual applying for or currently in the position as Safety Trainer/Inspector must obtain the following skills/requirements:
· Work the required hours (typically a minimum of 40 hrs/week)
· Ability to obtain the knowledge needed to train and conduct site inspections
· Recognizing and understand the differences between compliance & best practices
· Able to wear company furnished PPE as designated by the company and customer safety policy
· Ability to have basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint
· Willing to work as part of an on-call team including after hours, weekends
· Able to travel to and from customer sites via any approved method of transportation as needed'
Spanish speaking, OSHA 500, CHST preferred but, not required.
