Client Funds Coordinator- Business Office- $20.93 / Hr Closing Date : 11 / 18 / 2024 FT 40 Hr / wk Duties surround representative payee responsibilities for individuals' Social Security Administration (SSA) Funds - processing applications for payeeship with SSA, communicating changes with SSA, communicating and coordinating with staff about individuals' budgets and bills, receiving and processing of bills, processing monthly payments of bills and to individuals, completing related reports, maintaining appropriate documentation for payee and financial audits, and other related tasks. Documentation and tasks related to weekly cutting of Budget Assistance Program checks. Tracking and documentation of program fee and rent payments and other related tasks. Worksite : Norwich Hours : Mon - Fri, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm Responsibilities Review members Social Security checks that are received on the first and third of every month to confirm check amounts. Administer payee functions, in conjunction with Case Managers, for Reliance House members. Keep payee list updated. Process members rent, utility, landline phone and Sound Community Security Deposit loan bills for payment. Complete Payee Cover Sheets monthly and email them to Case Managers for review. Process Representative Payee related disbursements. Provide financial information as needed to Case Managers, members, conservators and the Social Security Administration. Act as the lead for the Social Security Representative Payee audit. Maintain member Budget Assistance Program accounts. Maintain and track member security deposit loan from Sound Community Services. Review paperwork and eligibility for Rent Subsidy requests and program fee reduction requests before forwarding to the COO for approval. Maintain and track member rent payments and rent subsidies. Maintain and track member program fees payments. Reconcile rent, rent subsidy and program fee schedules to the general ledger. Reconciliations for the Custodial Checking database : Custodial Checking to Reliance House General Ledger reconciliation. Custodial Checking Accounts Payable reconciliation. Maintain cross-training on accounts payable and cash receipt functions. Provide Business Office front desk function back up support as scheduled / needed. Assist in completion of CARF documentation for the Business Office. Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with business office internal controls. Act in a fiscally conservative manner and protect agency assets ther projects as assigned. Other responsibilities of Reliance Health staff, such as participation in agency events, adhering to Agency Policy Manuals, etc. Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information / communications and disseminate as appropriate Experience Associates degree in related field preferred []{style='font-size : 10pt; font-famil '}
