Your Team Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to work within the well-established MSCI Index business, but within one of its fastest growing segments – indexes for structured products and OTC products, with a focus on Americas region.
The ideal candidate will be fast learner and adapter, dynamic, in order to fit into a high-growth organization. The candidate would work with clients and internal stakeholders across different functions on day-to-day basis to understand the clients' needs and newest market trends and provide MSCI index solutions, both off-the-shelf and new index ideas. Our clients include but not limited to insurance companies, investment banks, distributors, asset owners and asset managers.
Your Key Responsibilities
No two projects or client requests are the same, but examples of some key responsibilities include:
- Presenting indexes and new ideas to clients in collaboration with the sales team and work on customized index solutions based on clients’ feedback
- Developing new index ideas in collaboration with research and external partners
- Supporting new index launches, work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver a smooth execution
- Providing index education and training for clients and any ad-hoc client enquires
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Prior experience in derivatives space, ideally worked at or with capital markets team in investment banks
- Good understanding of index design and excellent understanding of financial markets
- Experience of delivering projects to clients from initial pitch to execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A great team player
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
