END DATE Approximately August 15, 2025
HOURS 40 hours/week, 6AM-4:30PM, Monday-Thursday
JOB DESCRIPTION
Work on the grounds crew. General grounds keeping duties including but not limited to upkeep and maintenance of all outside areas, cuts and trims lawns and vegetation, clean parking areas, sidewalks, empty outside trash containers. Duties may require handling and lifting heavy weights and equipment up to one hundred (100) pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. One (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance and upkeep (desired for temporary assistant groundskeeper).
2. Good knowledge of practices, tools, equipment and materials used in grounds maintenance and upkeep; and of safety practices as applied to grounds maintenance and upkeep.
3. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
4. Ability to deal with the public in a positive manner.
5. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Candidate hired will be required to submit proof of identity and employment eligibility. A criminal history check is required at the employee's expense.
