PLEASANT LAKE MONTESSORI ELEMENTARY
Mild Disabilities Resource Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Planning, Preparing, and Monitoring Compliant IEPs, IN A Montessori K-6 School setting
- Collaborating with Montessori Education Teachers; providing inclusive support and differentiation along with intensive interventions, when appropriate
- Participating in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to Analyze Student Progress and Promote Student Learning in a Montessori setting; developing shared strategies within partnerships with stakeholders designed to reduce barriers to student access and to increase success
- Integrating Lesson; Maintaining a Google Classroom to Organize Content, and as a platform to Provide Support/Resources for Learners
- Communicating Information with Stakeholders Including Students, Colleagues, Parents and Administration
- Organizing and Participating in Case Conferences as Teacher of Record
- Advocating for Students Success across all settings
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana License in special education - Mild Intervention preferred or Mild Disabilities K-12.
- Safe Hiring Solutions expanded background including Indiana Department of Child Services index.
Salary: Based on experience
Start Date: August 4, 2025
