What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refugee Summer School Bilingual Paraprofessional position at MSD Wayne Township?
Paraprofessionals will work with students identifed as refugees in a summer learning program. This summer school is to provide specialized services for our students with refugee status, to increase supports for students and families new to the U.S. educational system in a supportive school environment. This program will take place from June 6-20, 2025. June 6th is a professional learning day for staff. Students will attend June 9-20, 2025. There will be no school on June 19, 2025. This program includes two fieldtrips in the community.
Student Day 8:00-11:30 am (Monday-Friday programming)
Arrival: 7:50-8:00 am and Dismissal: 11:20-11:30 am
Office and Staff Hours: 7:45-11:45 am
Breakfast at arrival (7:50-8:10 a.m.) and lunch prior to dismissal (11:10-11:20 a.m.)
