Enterprise Manager Rotational Program

Who are we hiring?

We have established a specialized, two-year rotational program for recent MBA graduates to develop business acumen and leadership abilities across the business. Successful applicants will be placed in approximately four, 6-month customized assignments giving them exposure to senior management, as well as hands on experience across the enterprise. This person will be integral to the success of our growth initiatives. In this role, this person will benefit from day to day coaching from leadership and hands-on mentoring from senior executives. Managers will report into the Head of Finance and Business Operations throughout the two-year program and rotate through MSG’s business areas, including but not limited to - Corporate FP&A, Marketing Partnerships, MSG Live, MSG Sports, MSG Sphere, MSG Networks, MSG Sports Properties, Corporate Development, Business Strategy & Operations, Data & Analytics, People Practices, Productions, and Venue Operations. Upon successful completion of the program, Managers will be placed in a senior manager or director level job assignment commensurate with both their interests and skillset.

What will you do?

• This person will support various organizations across Corporate FP&A, Marketing Partnerships, MSG Live, MSG Sports, MSG Sphere, MSG Networks, MSG Sports Properties, Corporate Development, Data & Analytics, Business Strategy & Operations, People Practices, Productions, and Venue Operations.
• Individual projects will depend on business needs at the time, and cover a range of impactful focus areas including (but not limited to):
   o Developing strategies and plans for new product launches
   o Identifying and assessing growth strategies for existing businesses
   o Leading cross-functional business and financial planning projects
   o Identifying opportunities to enhance our processes and systems
   o Leveraging data to drive insights and new initiatives
   o Managing key workstreams or cross-functional initiatives
• Managers will engage with MSG leadership throughout their program, including analysis and presentations for each individual project
• During the leadership program, participants will have the opportunity to:
• Work in a full-time position for two years with competitive annual salary, benefits, and employee perks

• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues
• Manage and own critical, cross-functional projects facilitated by senior executives through four, 6-month rotations across the business
• Advocate for the program internally and externally via panels, interviews, and meetings.
• Lead key stakeholders across multiple areas of each project
• Work with a dedicated executive mentor

What do you need to succeed?

• Must be a 2nd year MBA student from a top tier business school graduating Spring 2023
• 3-6 years’ work experience prior to business school
• Track record of work or academic experience with strategic analysis
• Strong interest and dedication to pursuing a career in the Sports & Entertainment Industry
• Ability to utilize expert knowledge to anticipate a wide range of future needs and opportunities
• Experience developing effective working relationships in a matrix, cross-functional environment to drive business decisions
• Broad business acumen and proven influencing and collaboration skills
• Exceptional ability to present ideas and deliverables in a compelling manner to a small or large audience at multiple levels; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in an ever changing and ambiguous environment – that means lots of change and quick, so you’ll need to be agile and nimble in your approach to work
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
