Major Responsibilities:
Manage the overall activities of the Purchasing/Central Supply and Materials Management Departments.
Oversee evaluation, procurement, storage, distribution, and forecasting of all supplies and equipment.
Establish and maintain policies for purchasing, receiving, warehousing, and supply distribution, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Develop and execute long- and short-range goals and objectives aligned with the company’s business strategy.
Standardize products and equipment across the organization, working closely with vendors to implement inventory controls, distribution systems, and tracking mechanisms.
Select suppliers based on quality of service and cost, negotiate pricing, and ensure sustainable supplier relationships without compromising quality or patient care.
Develop and implement demand and supply planning processes, tools, and technologies.
Audit supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and forecast usage and costs.
Review and optimize purchasing practices, ensuring utilization of appropriate contracts and tiers.
Assist in planning and budgeting phases of supply and equipment purchases, providing cost and usage reports and developing supply cost containment systems.
Ensure accurate data integration with Finance/GL Accounting systems.
Collaborate with procurement, inventory, distribution, and department leadership to reduce supply chain costs and improve efficiencies.
Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Support the Chief Financial Officer with company-wide initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of five years of professional leadership experience in Materials Management/Supply Chain within an acute care healthcare environment.
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
