What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Analyst position at MSH?

*** This role is HYBRID in NYC.
*** MUST come from an investment banking / asset management background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define requirements for asset management and private equity tools.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to support product development and innovation.
- Analyze platform usage data and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of investment management software (e.g., portfolio management, fund administration, performance analytics tools).
- Coordinate across technology, investment, operations, and client service teams to ensure product goals are met.
- Assist with product testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and roll-out planning.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in asset management and private equity technology.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within Asset Management or Private Equity.
- Familiarity with asset management tools (e.g., eFront, Investran, Black Mountain, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management processes, and private equity structures.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
