As a Project Engineer, Controls, you will:
- Lead and execute the design, testing, and integration of engine/turbine control systems for marine and land-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for engines, generators, vessels, and switchgear.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including detailed work scopes.
- Mentor junior engineers and support field service teams with technical expertise.
- Manage projects from initial concept through commissioning, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Travel up to 25% for onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, and client support.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 3 years of relevant experience OR 5 years of hands-on experience in power generation, marine propulsion, industrial automation, or a related field.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License & Passport - ready for domestic and international travel.
- Strong understanding of control systems, automation, and power generation technologies.
- Experience with troubleshooting and optimizing control systems for engines, generators, and industrial automation.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex wiring diagrams, control schematics, and system architectures.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- $110,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience)
