Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
- Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for the parts and aftermarket business, aligning with the company's overall vision.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Sales, Service & Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
- Oversee the development and delivery of technical training and support materials for parts.
- Operational Oversight & Distribution Fulfillment:
- Manage and optimize the distribution network, potentially including third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the distribution and warehousing operations.
- Manage obsolescence and implement strategies to minimize parts returns.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles within aftermarket parts, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
- Proven experience in developing and executing direct-to-dealer sales strategies and managing online sales platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting and demand planning.
- Deep marketing acumen, with experience in pricing strategies, promotions, and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of distribution fulfillment, supply chain operations, and inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the car wash industry or related equipment manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in SAP or other major ERP systems, including modules related to inventory management, sales order processing, and financial reporting.
- Experience with CRM systems for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles and their application in operational improvement.
