What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Cloud ERP Tester position at MSI?
As an Oracle Cloud ERP Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our company's Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. In this role, you will work closely with the development team to identify, report, and troubleshoot any issues or bugs within the Oracle Financials and SCM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of all aspects of the Oracle Cloud ERP system, including but not limited to modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Budgeting.
- Ability to Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities.
- Ability to Create Test Strategy, Master Test Plan(MTP), Test Coverage Matrix(TCM) and Requirements Traceability Matrix(RTM)
- Ability to coordinate with the development team and test Interfaces, and reports.
- Ability to Test Case Authoring for Interface and reports
- Ability to create and review Test Summary Report (TSR)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases accordingly.
- Identify and report defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features and fixes do not affect existing functionalities.
- Monitor and track defects to ensure they are resolved within the agreed-upon timeline.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Minimal 5 years experience with Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Experience in understanding the Life cycles of Oracle Cloud Financials, SCM & EPM Business processes.
- Prior test leadership experience supporting Oracle ERP SIT and UAT test phases and cycles.
- Remote position with 15% travel to client site.
