Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Lines Senior Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Financial Lines of insurance, including Directors and Officers (D&O), Errors and Omissions (E&O), Pension Trust Liability, Fidelity and Employment Practices Liability (EPLI). The Financial Lines Senior Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, determining coverage terms, and ensuring profitable underwriting results in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Risk Assessment and Analysis :
Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the financial stability and risk profile of potential clients.
Review and underwrite new and renewal business for financial lines of insurance, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to facilitate the underwriting process and provide exceptional customer service.
Monitor and manage the financial performance of the financial lines portfolio, ensuring profitability and growth targets are met.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial lines underwriting.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
