What we’re looking for: Account Supervisor, Media
What you bring to the table: As an integral member of the consumer earned media team, this person will be responsible for developing and implementing earned media strategies that will elevate the visibility and reputation of our clients. This position involves cultivating media relationships, conducting client relations, and pitching and securing strategic media coverage for clients.
The role: We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven individual with experience in creative storytelling that can craft “always on” narratives that generate coverage. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current media and lifestyle trends. This position requires excellent writing and communication skills, creative problem solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Craft media strategies, lead campaigns from concept to execution and deliver standout media results that elevate the visibility and reputation of our clients
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with national, local and trade journalists, editors, and producers
- Assist with program strategies and presentation development for existing clients and new prospects
- Write and distribute press releases, pitches, and media kits that reflect clients' messaging.
- Identify and leverage current trends and news to proactively bring clients earned opportunities relevant to their brand
- Lead internal and client meetings relating to earned media efforts and manage immediate next steps
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of previous experience in Public Relations agency or in-house and a B.A. in Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline
- A proven track record of securing coverage in lifestyle and news media outlets.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with media contacts
- A deep interest in current trends and culture and the ability to leverage this to deliver media results
- Strong analytical and written skills to develop and execute effective media strategies
- Ability to work in a collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
- Experience with media platforms such as Cision, Muck Rack and News Exposure
Compensation Range: $70,000-$117,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
Salary : $70,000 - $117,500
